Joining us this week is the one and only Lauren Clement of Lauren Nicole Designs. Lauren is an award-winning, Charlotte-based Interior Designer with 14 years experience in residential, commercial, renovation & new construction design. EQUESTRIAN INFLUENCED STYLE 

"The great thing about our industry is that we get to be a chameleon every single day," Lauren explained. She expressed that both her taste in fashion and interior design style can change over time. Lauren cites that she's inspired by nature, and loves a soft, natural feel. A self described "horse girl," Lauren started riding horses at age 6, and that equestrian influence is still a part of her style.

LAUREN CLEMENT FOR CHARLESTON FORGE

Lauren also took some time to talk to us about her brand new line for Charleston Forge. The collection includes occasional tables, consoles and accent pieces influenced by Lauren's love for natural materials and nods to an equestrian style. "When you look at the collection you can see the notes of the equestrian influence, but it can exist outside of a barn," Lauren explains.

HIGH POINT STYLE SPOTTING 

"This market was pure insanity in the best way possible," Lauren shares. While working with Charleston Forge to promote her new line, she also was a Style Spotter!  "I look back and think it’s a very natural curation of the things I selected. I allowed myself the opportunity to find new things which was amazing" Lauren says. She also shared some of the major trends that she found, such as the color green, wicker, rattan and woven materials, and people gravitating towards bright color and making our spaces happy.
