At-Home Valentine's Day Date Ideas
We might be stuck inside this year for Valentine’s Day, but who really wants to go out when you can enjoy this intimate holiday in the comfort of your own home? Get the music playing and spritz a sweet aroma throughout the air to create a romantic atmosphere. Here are some at-home date ideas that you and your significant other can enjoy this year!
1. PICK A THEME.
Plan your night based around a theme of your choosing. We’re choosing a Moroccan inspired evening with the main course being Tagine, a popular family meal in Morocco which can be made as a vegan or non-vegan dish. With this theme, think beyond the just the entree, and think about the experience as a whole. Start your evening with an epic charcuterie board layered with snacks and style the table around it with candle holders, colorful napkins, and patterned dinnerware. Embrace this idea and you’ll feel like you've been transported to another country for the evening!

2. CREATE A COCKTAIL STATION
If you don’t have a bar cart, you can make your own! Set up a small table next to the dining table as a way to refill your glass without having to go too far. This not only conveniences you both, but it will allow more space for dining. Almost as if you constantly have a cocktail waiter at your side, this will really enhance the experience to make you feel as if you’re at a 5-star restaurant. The Moroccan Smash is a yummy and rather visually appealing drink which fits the Moroccan inspired theme. Also on the drink table, put some after dinner mints, and a floral arrangement to set the tone.

3. SETTLE IN FOR THE NIGHT
After dinner grab a couple of comfy throw blankets and pillows and cozy up on the couch or “picnic” out on the living room floor. If it's warm enough where you are, take it outside under the stars! Choose a card game or fun activity such as the Love Quotes Inspirational Coloring Book.
