5 Spring Tablescapes to Bring Your Space to Life
Now that the warmer weather is here and we're able to spot daylight past 6 o'clock pm (in New York at least), it's time to start refreshing our homes for Spring! From living greenery to bursts of happy hues, there are many elements which can prepare your space for the upcoming season of rejuvenation and renewal. We've mentioned how you can swap out your pillows to refresh your home, but here are ideas for your dining table décor to give your space life!
SEE OUR 5 FAVORITE LOOKS BELOW!
1. BRIGHT & BOLD
Break the boundaries and go all out this season with a bold look! After all, it is Spring and what better way to celebrate with juicy brights and warm golds that remind us of the shining sun. We love the idea of using a fun, unique pattern for the tablecloth to set the backdrop for the entire display. Choose serveware that incorporates your favorite colors within the pattern. If you're bold enough, play mix n' match by using different patterned plates!
2. MELLOW NOTES
If you're not ready to commit to a bold look, stick to a simpler one. For the centerpiece, use one or two (depending on table size) small, clear vases with your choice of flowers. We like the idea of using yellow as it takes us right to a bright, warm and sunny day like the ones to come. Using a simple two-toned runner will help break things up yet keep a minimal look. Solid color plates with a unique texture add interest without being too loud or busy.

3. MEMORABLE MOTIF
Give your tablescape a more meaningful design with a motif that speaks to you. Maybe your grandmother always loved birds, so having plates with birds on them brings back happy memories and gives you a sense of joy. To have something on display in your home that triggers these emotions is a wonderful thing and also creates a conversation at the dinner table. We love these butterfly motifs Cheryl Luckett of Dwell by Cherly chose in this gorgeous tablescape design!
4. GREEN REFRESH
If there's one color that comes to mind when thinking of Spring, it's definitely green! As a color of life and nature, green evokes a sense of liveliness and energy that brings a positive vibe to any space. Use a large greenery piece as the centerpiece of table. You can even head into the backyard or nearby park to collect materials and turn it into a fun little project! For the overall color palette, broaden it beyond just green by adding in teal tones and deeper mossy greens. Ground them out with warm neutrals of grey and beige.

5. MONOCHROMATIC MIX-UP
Sticking to a monochromatic color palette doesn't have to mean boring! When using this concept it's important to incorporate lots of texture and various sized pattern to bring in dimension. You also want to use tonal variations of the color to keep it from feeling stagnant. For the plates, choose a unique pattern that speaks to you and layer them atop a contrasting patterned tablecloth. Bring in different textures with fun utensils and/or decorative accessories, such as the bamboo accent incorporated in the tablescape below!
