This set includes two decorative vases made of two layers of glass. The purple layer is entirely covered by a thick, rich milky glass. Then the pattern is created when the white glass is removed using a stone-cutting technique to reveal the purple glass underneath. This is quite an artistic process that takes great skill to achieve.
